This estate is a winery, brewery, cellar door and restaurant/venue and has beautiful rural views with sweeping vines,and is perfect for your wedding, or special occasion event. Slate Restaurant sits on an ancient bed of 500 million year old stone

This newly constructed venue/restaurant was designed externally by local architect Greg Pulford and internally by Clare Stone, and has a rustic and modern ambience with materials of Mintaro slate, sandstone, native Tasmanian Oak and curly chestnut throughout the venue. The name “Slate Restaurant” was derived from the historic stone the property sits on.This wedding venue can cater for intimate or large weddings and has a decking area that overlooks the vineyard. There are also outdoor marquee wedding options available.

Your guests will enjoy their meals by their tastebuds and by presentation, as they are served the finest award winning food. Slate Restaurant provides sumptuous meals with a large menu selection of the best local produce, matched with Pikes prestige collection of wines and beer. Photographers will love the picture framed setting, perfect for your wedding photography

Within the estate there are many private beautiful locations for your wedding photography.  There are manicured lawns bordered lavender hedges with a backdrop of century-old brickwork evoking the romance of days gone by. Stunning vineyard framed perfectly by views of the Clare Valley region. A tranquil meandering creek with open space, all this and for the most memorable photography.
