Sherwood Receptions is a 130 year old historic Tudor style countryside homestead nestled amongst natural bushland that has both ambience of charm and elegance. Sherwood Receptions is easily accessible by road being located only five minutes from Melbourne Airport and a short twenty minute drive from the CBD. Renowned as a truly unique wedding venue the large function room named Rundle Hall has heritage architecture with warm timber that radiates old English charm. The impressive area has a brick and stone fireplace with beautiful mantel and polished floorboards and Tudor ceilings creating plenty of rustic character for your wedding. The outdoor courtyard with manicured gardens lends itself to conducting intimate wedding ceremonies as well as an area to serve cocktail drinks and canapés. The private garden setting is perfect for wedding ceremonies and provides the convenience of having the ceremony and reception at the one location. For summer comfort, the function room is fully air conditioned making the venue perfect for both summer and winter weddings. The dedicated event managers are experienced and understand that a wedding is a beautiful memorable day for the couple, family and friends. The coordinators work with you from your initial appointment through to the wedding day to ensure that your personalised day runs smoothly. Sherwood Receptions will design a package to suit your own individual requirements whilst attempting to meet your budget expectations. Sherwood Receptions is open for inspection Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 10am to 4pm and Saturdays by appointment only. It is preferred appointments are made to inspect Sherwood to ensure one of our event coordinators are on site to assist with your enquiry and discuss your personalised wedding.
