Being an exclusive venue with a secluded location the estate has a late curfew time of midnight. Cottages in the Pines is perfectly positioned within a short 15 minutes from Sheffield and only 40 minutes from Devonport. Celebrate your wedding day in a spectacular and exclusive setting with a trickling creek and breathtaking vistas of Cradle Mountain.

This enchanting wedding venue offers to transform your day into the wedding of your dreams. Imagine having a ceremony in the pine forest, or finely manicured lawn area with mountain views. After the ceremony your guests would be entertained by having BYO canapes and sipping cocktails under the gazebo, or perhaps playing lawn games while you are having your wedding photography. Your reception has endless choices, celebrating with al fresco dining under the stars, or in a purpose built location for an elegant marquee.

DIY with your own Catering and Exclusive Wedding Venue for 3 Days

For a quaint and dreamy outdoor wedding venue, Promised Land Events is the perfect location. Offering a fully DIY package with your chosen vendors and access to the Cottage in the Pines for three days from 3pm the day before your wedding to 1pm the day after. You can design your DIY wedding in this charming space. Your host will assist in the planning and coordination to deliver a wedding experience that is forever memorable. BYO drinks, couples are welcome to bring their own delicious drinks to this welcoming property, and there is only a small corkage fee. Cottage in the Pines understand that this is your day and you have the freedom to bring in your own caterer. The choice is yours. Perhaps a food truck? A sit down menu? A banquet, or a cocktail event? Depending on your theme and preferences, you can opt for some extra assistance. Your host can create a cocktail style setting with tall tables and wine barrels plus a bar setup including a buffet for a grazing table, or table and chairs for Alfresco dining or the more formal Marquee with table and chairs or even an upscale picnic for those that want something a little different. Your host Birralee King can also organise the celebrant if you wish, and if not herself there are a number of local people that are wonderful celebrants. For elopement couples Birralee can also provide witnesses if required.

Charming Guest and Couple Accommodation

Your guests can relax in the charming accommodation and enjoy a relaxing weekend escape, with all the facilities. The earthy mud brick cottage offers a tranquil setting for your wedding party to prepare and a gorgeous place to relax after the big day’s celebrations. There is also an additional bungalow for couples that wish to get ready separately. The cottages are located in the peaceful woods with sounds of birdlife and sightings of animals visiting the area. The cottage can sleep up to five people and the small bungalow can sleep an additional two people with a queen bed. In addition promised land events are proud to offer a disabled bathroom for guests that may need the extra space. Your guests are also able to glamp under the stars on your wedding night in creating a wonderful relaxed setting with treasured memories. For more in house stays there is also extra accommodation directly across the road at the Granary.
