David Parums Design handcrafts with from Damascus steel, tantalum, titanium and only the best 18ct golds. Interestingly David Parums has both the experience as a jeweller and a knifemaker. Damascus steel with its Japanese swordsmith origin in the forging of swords, has a unique history. Todays Damascus steel is formed by a similar process, however over time the skills of using different chemical makeup allows the jeweller to create bolder patterns than those achieved in ancient times.
Tantalum is a new material in the field with David being one of the very few jewellers working with it.
