This historic country-style estate is located only twenty minutes from Launceston, set in the peaceful township of Bishopbourne. With lush farmland, beautiful gardens and framed vistas of stunning mountains makes this setting a hidden treasure.

All Season Wedding Venue

The estate is located on a private 840-hectare working farm and is stunning during all seasons. From the beautiful blooms of spring and the stunning landscape during summer with amazing sunsets.To the beautiful rich earthy colours of autumn, and the snow capped mountains during winter.

Charming Accommodation with a Warm Welcoming Atmosphere

The spacious two-storey historic homestead provides traditional rustic country accommodation and accommodates up to 16 people in- house. Clayfield Homestead was established in the 1820’s and a further extension was developed in style with the homestead in the early 1990’s. Clayfield Homestead has charming accommodation and is perfect for romantic getaways, groups, or corporate stays. The accommodation is the perfect added option for the wedding party and guests before and after the wedding. Every aspect has been considered for a beautiful stay. The homestead offers a large fully functional kitchen,living room, separate dining and lounge, 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and full laundry. There is also the option of further guests camping on site and can be discussed with our host.

So whether your dream day is an indoor celebration, or outside event with marquee, the choice is yours.
